This is the original style. HM still manufactures this same style but with 5 rounded legs rather than the original 4 blade leg style by Ray and Charles Eames. The chair is wide yet visually slim from most angles. It is minimalism at it's finest. A masterpiece of engineering it combines the best of functionality, comfort, style and recyclability. The seat is suspended rather than supported by a polished solid industrial strength aluminum frame. The chair snugly cradles the owner's body. It is far more comfortable than it would appear. This chair was truly far ahead of its time. Sturdy construction to last many lifetimes. Please note there are small shallow imperfections to underside of chair which are not visible when chair is in normal upright position. There are also minor rub marks on corners of original faux leather material. Simple satin black arms are solid aluminum and can be sanded bare and polished to match the rest of chair if desired. This chair is priced for quick sale.
